The Day You Said, "I Do"
Today, on this day,
God joined together
two very beautiful people,
a man and a woman,
together in holy matrimony.
They gazed into one another’s eyes,
as they said their vows.
They pledged their love,
and said those magical words, "I Do".
Yes, a magical event took place on that day,
and now as love is celebrated once more,
may it continue yet another year,
for this is love that God has given to share.

A day within history
in time it was told
Together forever
until we grow old ~
A whisper, a promise
a joining of hearts
In finding each other
and never to part.
A mystery of something
which we've always known
A journey of two souls

A lifetime of lessons
which bring us to where
A promise is waiting,
a love with you there.
A blessing to always
have you in my life,

My true love I don’t have riches

But God sent to me an angel
